Thunderbird School of Global Management is one of the most famous private schools in the United Sates of America. It is the first and the oldest school with such a specialization. With main campuses situated in Glendale, Arizona, it also has the campuses in Czech Republic. It cooperates with Czech Management Center in Switzerland, Geneva, Russia, China, and Mexico.
The title of the Thunderbird School of Global Management has changed for several times, it was entitled – American Institute of Foreign Trade, American Graduate School of International Management, Garvin School of International Management.
The school was organized in 1946; the school was built on Thunderbird field, where the American, Chinese, Canadian, and British pilots were training during the Word War II. In 1947 the first the first graduating class appeared within the walls of the school.
With the growth of the popularity of the filed of business nowadays, Thunderbird School of Global Management has the campuses in France, China, Japan, and Russia. The number of partnership programs of Thunderbird School of Global Management is very large, thus, through these programs students in Mexico, Brazil, Peru, and Taiwan are educated.
